Winter can be a tough time for motorcyclists. From constant rain and wind, a significant decrease in visibility, right through to snow and hail, the weather conditions can make riding hard. Being on a motorcycle leaves you exposed to the elements more than any other vehicle and it’s important that you dress to ensure your comfort and safety.

Thermal underlayers, provided by brands like ProSkins, Forcefield’s Climate Control, Motrax’s Anti-Freeze and Oxford Products Chill Out are the first necessary investment. From thermal socks, to leggings, long johns and body layers, although these may not be the most glamorous clothing you wear, it is nonetheless essential. Motrax, the UK distributor for Caberg Motorcycle Helmets announces an across the board price increase on all current Caberg Helmets offered in the UK, effective as of 1st October 2009.

All current Caberg Helmets, with the exception of the Freedom Open Face and Trip Lite Junior Flip Front helmet will have an rrp increase of either £10 or £20 per lid.

The UK’s top selling Flip Front Helmet, the Caberg “5 Star Sharp test rated” TRIP helmet increases from it’s current rrp of £99.99 for plain colours to a new post 1st October rrp at £119.99. The excellent Justissimo GT Flip Front itself will also rise by £20 to a new rrp of £169.99 in plain colours and £10 in graphics to £179.99.
