Shipping & Delivery

Motorcycle Clothing Shop operates and supplies to the UK only. If you wish to purchase from outside of the UK , please contact us for more information prior to placing any orders. We may only consider receiving and accepting orders from selected European Union Member Countries on a case by case basis following direct contact. In each case we retain the right to refuse all none UK based orders and if accepted each order will be subject to additional delivery charges. We WILL NOT consider any export orders outside of the European Union... All orders that exceed £50 will be delivered free of charge to the UK. For all orders below £50 our standard service delivery charges will apply ranging from £1.99 to a maximum of £4.99. As a guide all items less than 500g are £1.99, between 500g-1kg are £2.99, between 1kg-2kg are £3.99 and over 2kg £4.99. Deliveries can take place anytime between 8am-5.30pm. If you need to request a specific time for delivery, you may need to pay a premium. If we need to re-deliver, there may be a charge dependant on the quantity of goods and location. All orders are delivered by our chosen Couriers (normally 48hrs delivery for items over 2kg) or Royal Mail (normally 24hrs to 72hrs delivery for iems less than 2kg’) unless otherwise specified by a customer when making a purchase. The majority of our shipments will require a signature on receipt. It may take longer than the guide for our Couriers and Royal Mail to deliver to Northern Ireland and more remote areas of the UK. The contents, weight, value and postcode will determine which delivery service you are offered. We cannot accept orders for deliveries to PO Boxes.

Delivery Schedule

If your item is in stock we will dispatch goods usually within 3 working days, in most cases this will be the next working day. If the item is out of stock we will notify you via email your item is out of stock and has been placed on Back Order. At this stage if you prefer not to wait you will be given the option to cancel the item.

Information Collected About You
 As an e-commerce website, motorcycleclothingshop.co.uk collects personal information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number. Information collected by us is used solely for the purpose of billing and shipping your online purchases.

Payments can be made by Credit Card, Debit Card or PayPal. All Card details are entered on a SSL protected server. Card and Personal information is then encrypted. Any credit card details are sent directly to Paypal and are not stored anywhere on the site. Orders made over the telephone require credit card details to be held by us purely for the purpose of completing the order, those details are then destroyed once the order is complete. They will be processed through a Paypal virtual terminal. UK orders only.

How Your Information is Used
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy

If within 7 days of receipt of your delivery you are unhappy with your purchase we will attempt to reasonably put the matter right either by means of Credit–Refund or Exchange. We will accept any items you are unhappy about subject to the Distance Seling Regulation 2000 where you have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to 7 working days starting the day after delivery (7 day cooling off period). All monies including the original delivery cost are refunded if the goods are cancelled within the 7 day cooling off period. The goods should be returned back to us and the cost of delivery will need to be covered by you.

Goods must not have been used and be returned in the original packaging with all labels and tags still intact/affixed. Goods must be in a resellable condition (we reserve the right to charge a fee to replace product packaging which is damaged or defaced). We recommend goods are sent back on a recorded insured delivery service and packaged in a secure/adequate manner as we cannot be liable for their loss or damage whilst in transit. You must inform us by email of your wish to cancel the contract to return goods for credit or exchange prior to return and within the 7 day cooling off period ending. The goods should be returned back to us and the cost of both inward and outward delivery will need to be met by you.

HELMETS: As Helmets are a safety item the condition of purchase is that we cannot accept their return unless the helmet is returned unworn in it’s original box with the visor label and all tags still intact. Failure to comply with these conditions, or if the helmets shows any sign of wear or use will deem that the customer has accepted the helmet and it will be returned and the customer charged for return postage. The same condition will apply to items such as DVD’s when any form of protective film or seal has been broken. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.

Please review your order form to confirm that you have ordered the correct goods to avoid any misunderstanding. Paid orders that are cancelled less than 24hrs before delivery will be subject to an administration charge of 5% and possibly a delivery charge if the goods have been dispatched already. Delivery costs can only be refunded if the return is due to an error on our part. All credits will be processed within 30 days.

As per your Statutory Rights the goods we supply must be fit for purpose, match any description given and be of satifactory quality. Where appropriate the goods may be subject to the conditions of a Manufacturers Guarantee and within the Guarantee period if they become faulty we will repair or replace for the same specification if a fault occurs we will repair being the first option. However we cannot repair or replace within the Guarantee period if the damage is as a result of fair wear and tear; the product has been subject to misuse or modification; the products has suffered inexpert or attempted repair; or damaged caused in transit by returning the goods in inadequate packaging.

You must inform us by email of all returned goods prior to their dispatch to us, giving reason for their return.

Ordering

All orders that you place on this website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions. The ’confirmation’ stage sets out the final details of your order. You will be viewing this in a secure server screen. When you place your order you will be sent an automatic confirmation email. Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on dispatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it. Please see Returns, Refund and Cancellations Policy section. Please print out the order confirmation for your own records. You will need the ’Order Number’ supplied to you after completing an order by email for correspondences with us regarding your order.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

We require full payment at the time we receive your order in all cases where the product is ready for dispatch. The price you pay is the price displayed in the website-shopping basket at the time we receive your order. While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

All International (Non-UK) orders please fully complete the online order form and submit. Once we have received your order, we will contact you regarding full cost (including shipping). All transactions will be paid by bank transfer; details will be made available upon acceptance of charges. Goods will not be sent until payment is received in full. All prices include VAT (where applicable) and bank card charges at the applicable current rates but exclude delivery charges, unless expressly stated otherwise. VAT will be deducted at time of process for those areas that are VAT exempt.

Liability

You will become the owner of the goods once delivered to you. Once delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

As motorcycling is a potentially hazardous activity. It is the individual’s own responsibilty to learn and understand the proper techniques associated with the activity and to fully accept and assume all risks, damages, injury or death which may result from the use of items purchased through Motorcycle Clothing Shop. Prior to use the purchaser agrees to take all responsibility to read, understand and abide by all instructions and labelling supplied by the manufacturers on products purchased. You accept on purchase that we cannot be held liable for any claim for loss, injury or compensation for inapproprite use, failure to read and abide by the manufactuers instruction or failure of the product itself. In cases of failure of the product other than your Statutiry Rights you agree all liabilities pass to the Manufacturer of the item.
